Fresh and artistic, Louis Vuitton remains one of the world's most coveted symbols of status and sophistication. The Damier pattern was designed in 1888 and the Monogram, in 1896. Over a hundred years later, these remain two of the most recognizable prints in the world. Nicolas Ghesquière, previously of Balenciaga, is the artistic director of women’s collections (2013). Virgil Abloh was the artistic director of the men’s line starting in March 2018 until his untimely passing in 2021.
Condition Notes: Light loss of structure. Heavy darkening, marks, and scuffs throughout exterior leather trim and handles. Minor scuffs and light marks throughout exterior coated canvas. Scuffs throughout exterior edges of coated canvas. Surface scratches and heavy tarnishing to hardware. Marks and light fading throughout interior. Light vintage odor. Missing lock and keys.
